Questions advertisers ask

Do I need a company account?

You need an advertiser account. It is separate from employer and job-seeker accounts, with its own sign-in under /ads. Sign up with a company email (free-mail addresses are rejected); its domain becomes your verified account domain. Your ads can link to any https page, including a client’s site; a person checks every link before the ad runs.

How is billing done?

One upfront Stripe Checkout payment in USD, for whole weeks. Billing is handled by Stripe; we store no billing address, tax ID or card. Review is free and nothing is charged before approval.

What do you count as 'Times shown'?

Times shown counts each time your ad is rendered in a placement it booked; one page can show it in more than one placement. Clicks are counted through our own /r/ links, with bots filtered out. Both are daily counters. No cookies, IP address or visitor identifier are stored for this.

Can I change my ad after it's approved?

Approved ads are locked. Editing creates a new version that goes back to review.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, before its first booked start. Cancellation is recorded, capacity is released, and a full refund is issued through Stripe. After the first booked start there is no partial refund.
