Home Services Coordinator

 The Home Services Coordinator will support the operations of our short term rental property management business based in Australia. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organised, confident in coordinating trades and maintenance tasks, and experienced in managing property readiness across a portfolio (ideally with Australian based properties). You should be comfortable working and communicating with to contractors, reading and interpreting maintenance issues, navigating systems like Breezeway, and ensuring properties are consistently guest-ready.
This role requires a combination of operational coordination, problem-solving, communication, and maintenance-focused execution to help our guests enjoy a seamless experience and support owners with timely, high-quality property upkeep.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary coordinator for all maintenance-related tasks logged in Breezeway
  • Triage incoming issues, assign priorities, and ensure tasks contain full and accurate information
  • Assign tasks to the correct contractors and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Request and compare quotes for maintenance jobs, ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Track task completion and perform quality checks on submitted contractor evidence (photos, notes)
  • Approve completed tasks in Breezeway so Finance can process payments
  • Communicate with the Guest Experience Team for issues impacting upcoming stays
  • Escalate urgent, unclear, or high-cost issues to the Home Services Lead
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance work
  • Contribute to improving maintenance processes and eliminating recurring issues

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • At least 2 years of experience in short-term rental, property management, facilities coordination, maintenance administration, or a similar role
  • Familiarity with systems such as Breezeway, Hostaway, Trello, Airtasker, or other workflow tools
  • Understanding of general household maintenance categories (handyman, plumbing, electrical, garden, pool, appliance, etc.)
  • Ability to triage and prioritise tasks with good judgement
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with contractors, internal teams, and property owners
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solver with a  get it done  attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, remote operational environment

Salary and Work Days

  • AUD 1,520 per month
  • You will be working on contract and for 5 days a week.
  • This is a full-time, remote role with an 8-hour shift each day.
