RECUR is a technology company that designs & develops dedicated branded experiences that allow fans to buy, collect, and re-sell digital products and collectibles (NFTs). RECUR is the only blockchain-agnostic NFT platform ultimately giving its brand partners the widest range of distribution and their fan bases the widest range of utility. RECUR also co-authored the recurring royalty standard for NFTs, allowing for creators, artists, athletes, and brands to participate in the secondary sales of their assets in perpetuity.
RECUR s Accounting organization is focused on producing world-class financial reporting for our internal and external stakeholders. We use industry-leading enterprise ERP software as well as cutting-edge tools, and partner with firms and regulatory bodies outside RECUR to answer some of the most interesting questions in cryptoaccounting. We re looking for a Senior Accountant with an active CPA to join our Controller and rockstar Finance team.
What you will do at RECUR:
- The small stuff: Reconciliation of deposits and reimbursements of cryptocurrencies (crypto coins and tokens) and FIAT, accurate vouching and coding of invoices, timely remittance of payments to our partners and vendors
- The medium stuff: Assisting with the build-out of the control environment within the accounting and treasury functions, liaising with business partners to improve the record to report functions
- The big stuff: Reconciliation and reporting of royalties to our NFT partners, providing accuracy and reliability around the balance sheet and analysis over the post-close P&L results
What you bring to RECUR:
- 5+ years of experience as an accountant, with at least 2 years at a Big4 firm
- Bachelor s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
- An active CPA
- Broad exposure across multiple subledgers, not just Cash or AP
- Experience with cash management and treasury
- Experience with procurement
- Experience using Oracle Netsuite or a similar cloud-based ERP
- Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and/or NFTs
- A no job is too small attitude

- EXCEPTIONAL communication skills; you can succinctly relay what happened and why to a lay audience
