About the Role

Budgeted Salary Range: $200k - $250k

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional Frontend Software development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, and React.js
• Experience with React and other web technologies
• Experience with REST and WebSocket APIs
• Knowledge of best practices in frontend architecture, including performance, security, and usability
• Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 and CSS post-processing libraries such as SASS
• Knowledge of UI design and some experience with UX
• Experience building end-to-end UI closely following design guidelines and leveraging robust UI libraries
• Experience leading or managing a team of 2     4 people
• Experience or knowledge of Trading Systems
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol and client-server communication
• Understanding of state-management patterns such as Redux or similar
• Experience introducing modern tech stacks to legacy codebase
• Use of established best practices to write, test, and deploy frontend code
• Proficiency with Git version control
• Facilitate collaboration sessions between Engineering and Product.
• Lead the development of personas, user flows and scenarios, goal/task analyses, and other key tools of user-centered design

Programming languages:  JavaScript, React.js, and Python

Web Technologies:  ES6+, React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Next.js 

Testing Tools:  Jasmine, Jest, Enzyme, Cypress, or Selenium

Nice to have:

• Experience in capital markets, FX and/or crypto industry
• Knowledge of Python and Django
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms for deployment
• Experience with financial charting libraries is preferred
