About the role:

Corporate Security Analyst will provide for the welfare and physical protection of the employees and assets. The CSA will be tasked with evaluating and maintaining the security of physical offices and infrastructure while also being tasked with performing executive protection assignments locally, nationally, and abroad. We are seeking a professional who maintains readiness, unwavering professionalism, confidentiality, and a high degree of emotional and professional intelligence. Applicants should be in excellent health and physical condition, have a reputation as a team player, and be willing to travel and work long hours with ever-changing and extensive schedules spanning most calendar weeks.

You may find yourself doing all of the following:

• Providing close protection services for events held by or attended by select Swirlds Labs employees and ensuring a smooth transition from each venue
• Performing protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments
• Providing security services for large-scale company events
• Planning, coordinating, and executing executive protection operations to ensure the smooth operation of all essential components of the role
• Effectively managing the principal's requests against the need to ensure all safety and security precautions
• Observing, reporting, and/or intervening as appropriate regarding any situation that may compromise the safety and security of the principal's person, work, and/or reputation
• Participating in emergency response actions to facilitate the protection of the principle. This includes verbal de-escalation, use of appropriate force, and appropriate medical treatment
• Providing threat intelligence services, routine inspections, and monitoring of corporate facilities
• Assisting with SecOps monitoring and response to automated cybersecurity alerts
• Developing and supporting tabletop exercises
• Operating the organization's incident response efforts, including developing, maintaining, and executing incident response plans

Qualification Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in personal security/direct protection.Ability to obtain concealed carry permits for applicable states, as necessary
• Ability to travel on a semi-frequent basis
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Obtain and maintain valid first aid/CPR/AED and other required Certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to company stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including mentoring and coaching team members
