Team Tito is a software business with two main products: Tito and Vito. Tito is for selling tickets to events. Vito is a tool to help bring delight to event experiences, online or offline. We re a small and passionate team headquartered in Dublin, Ireland serving thousands of daily users and their customers across the globe.
Since 2013 we ve been building a company and product that our customers and their customers love, and importantly laying the foundations of a solid, sustainable business for ourselves in the years to come.
We are committed to providing delightful experiences to our customers, based on strong ethical values and a commitment to excellence. We are also proudly independent giving us full control of our strategy and direction, allowing us to set our own course.
We recognise the huge potential for growth in Vito and while we ve traditionally followed a slow and steady mantra, given that our existing business has been wiped out by the Coronavirus crisis, we recognise the need to do things a little differently.

Founded by Paul and Doc, Team Tito comprises six full-time staff, with the team focussed mostly on customer operations and product operations, with contractors filling the other core responsibilities.
We are a remote-first company. Three team members are currently located abroad, with the remainder based at Tito HQ in Dublin, but all company interactions are led as though everyone were remote, even if we share an office.
The Head of Design is a completely new role at Tito and they will be responsible for integrating design from top to bottom within the company.
Traditionally, we have had three main functions: sales & marketing, product and business operations. Up until now the co-founders have been responsible for brand, product and marketing design and have either done this themselves or brought in outside help. We re now at the stage where we want to have someone looking after this full-time. We want design as an integrated role, one that has an effect on all of the current business functions. A common design language should track across all the functions, and we should look toward developing our own design voice.
Since we are a small team, our head of design will be a broad role, primarily focussed on web design for our marketing sites and UI design for our platforms. There will be opportunities to stretch into graphic design and typography both for web and product, as well as product design for events we run and individual side projects.
We re looking for someone who will be the person to go to whenever a question arises that needs design thinking. We need someone for quick, ad-hoc decisions, screens and sites, but also someone to chart a more ambitious path, who can help us evolve into a design-led organisation who can take pride in our brand, and have a set of systems, both technical and holistic that will help us to stand out, to make an impact, and to live our core values.
This isn t just a pure design role either, our ideal candidate will be comfortable writing and deploying code to realise their designs.
