Paid Social Media (Facebook/Meta) Specialist or Manager
We are currently seeking a Paid Social Media Specialist or Manager to be an essential part of our digital media team at RPM Advertising, a full-service advertising agency based in Chicago. We re looking for someone with experience in paid social advertising, particularly Facebook/Meta, to lead day-to-day execution and analytics (rather than social media content or community management.) This person would manage development, launch, and stewardship of paid social campaigns, reporting to our Associate Digital Director and collaborating with other digital and traditional media subject experts alike. This is a remote position without need for relocation and the majority of the agency operates on CST.
Responsibilities
Candidate must have experience running ads in Facebook/Meta Ads Manager.
Collaborate with account, creative, and other digital/traditional media team members to strategically build paid social campaigns that work in conjunction with other media channels and tactics
Candidate should be able to recommend creative types, budgets, targeting approaches, and flighting
Candidate will present to internal and client audiences
QA and traffic paid social campaigns
Monitor and optimize performance
Candidate will track KPIs across platforms and campaigns, making adjustments to maximize desired results
Contribute to reporting and analytics
Candidate will share metrics, insights and platform performance exports for reports such as impressions, clicks, and conversions
Oversee paid social channel billing
Candidate will work with agency Accounts Payable to ensure proper budget management
Ideally candidate should have experience with Facebook/Meta Business Suite and Facebook/Meta Pixels & Conversions API.
Skills/Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating in Facebook/Meta Ads Manager
Ability to work independently (and remotely), as well as in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Demonstration of problem solving and critical thinking
Title and salary commensurate to experience
Additional social platform experience not necessary but a plus (Twitter, LinkedIn).
