What you will be doing in this role

We are growing one of the biggest, diverse and international photography communities in the world. This is an exciting and varied role where you get to meet a lot of people (online and offline). The Destination Coordinator is arranging photographer meetups and scheduling photographers for the most exciting venues and events around the world. You ll be building loyal relationships with photographers in your target region.

 

We are looking for a person to join us to replace a current coordinator that goes on Maternity leave. Contract would be for at leat 5 months and could be up to 6 months if needed.

Within the Smiler organization you are part of the Supply side. Within the Destination Team you are working closely together with Destination Managers and your colleague Destination Coordinators. You are reporting directly to the Destination Team Lead.

Your key responsibilities

• You ll be the face of Smiler towards a regional part of our community of photographers. By welcoming them, building relationships, onboarding them, organizing events with them and more.

• You will be the person to go on your assigned destinations with anything related to photographers knowledge and schedule

• Smiler is a multi-sided marketplace with photographers and venues worldwide. You ll be promoting a positive community feel within each city by organising regular social meet-ups (virtual and/or face to face), managing group chats and sharing Smiler s core values and initiating gamification

• Photographer onboarding: ensuring a smooth and effortless onboarding experience for the photographer to get them activated straight after they ve signed up

• You will come up with creative ideas to improve photographer onboarding and will work with the team to implement these

• After commercial teams have signed a new venue or other leisure location, you will be teaming up with the Destination Manager, the City Captain and the BDM s for onboarding the client and start getting photographers excited for the new opportunity

• Planning and managing available hotspots. Scheduling in photographers, offering support via Intercom

• Being part of the city-rollout and other project teams to grow around the world

• You will keep up to date photographer payment tracking, that can vary depending on the payment model chosen

What you are able to bring to the table

• You speak and write English and Dutch fluently.

• You are a motivator with great communication skills: professional, friendly, empathetic, approachable, energetic and playful. Being a people's person you easily make connections with people from different backgrounds.

• You ll blow us away with your strong organizational skills and previous experience in planning and scheduling in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Teamwork mindset by building and maintaining strong relationships and motivating others to achieve the common goal.

• Unstoppable motivation to create the biggest social photographer community in the world.

• You can handle early stage startups that comes with creating and building processes and focussing on small improvements every step of the way.
