We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bid Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling, high-quality proposals and bids to secure new business opportunities. This role is integral to our growth strategy and requires someone with excellent writing, research, and organisational skills, as well as a strong understanding of the healthcare sector and a willingness to learn.


 Key Responsibilities

  1. Bid Writing & Development
    • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, tailored proposals, bids, and tender responses.
    • Ensure all content aligns with the requirements of the tender and highlights the company s value proposition.
    • Develop content that is persuasive, accurate, and compliant with industry standards.
  2. Bid Management
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary information for bids, including technical, operational, and financial details.
    • Manage the end-to-end bid process, including deadlines, submission requirements, and compliance checks.
    • Maintain a library of pre-written content, templates, and case studies for future use.
  3. Market Research & Analysis
    • Conduct research on potential clients, competitors, and market trends to inform bid strategy.
    • Analyse feedback from unsuccessful bids to improve future proposals.
  4. Client Liaison
    • Engage with clients to understand their needs and tailor responses accordingly.
    • Ensure that bids reflect a deep understanding of client requirements and demonstrate how the company can meet or exceed expectations.
  5. Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that all proposals are of the highest standard, free of errors, and submitted on time.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all bid documents.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer, or similar role, preferably within the healthcare or consultancy sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, terminology, and challenges.
  • Experience using bid management software or tools.
  • Knowledge of public procurement and funding frameworks.
